Is it better for people with really good skin not to wear foundation?

My pores are a bit big, but my skin itself is actually pretty good.

But I think my skin actually looks worse when I apply foundation.

  
I found that just applying sunscreen is the best.

Have I just not found the right foundation for me yet?

Or maybe the answer is just to apply regular sunscreen? T_T

But if I don't wear foundation, what should I do with eyeshadow or blush?
It looks funny when I do eye makeup without foundation because it looks like my bare face with only my eyes looking heavy.

I am more interested in cosmetics than others and tend to buy them quite often.

I still feel like I haven't found my style... T_T
