Does not drying my hair completely after washing it cause hair loss?
I often hear that you need to dry your scalp completely after washing your hair.
On busy days, I tend to roughly dry my hair and leave my scalp slightly damp.
In the past, I thought that as long as my hair was somewhat dry, it wouldn't be a big problem.
However, after hearing that leaving the scalp wet for a long time is bad for scalp health, I started to rethink my usual habits.
Especially for those who wash their hair at night, using a hairdryer for a long time is burdensome, but going to bed with wet hair would likely feel uncomfortable.
My question here is whether having damp hair and having a damp scalp are the same problem.
I would like to know exactly whether it is bad for the ends of my hair to be slightly damp, or if it is sufficient to just dry my scalp thoroughly.
I am also curious which is more suitable for scalp and hair care: drying quickly with hot air or taking the time to dry with lukewarm air.
I don't think drying it for a long time just because you are worried about hair loss is the right answer.
For those of you who usually dry your scalp thoroughly after washing your hair, what method do you use?
It may seem like a trivial habit, but since I repeat it every day, I want to understand it properly and manage it.
