My skin broke out after switching cosmetics; should I stop using them immediately?
I bought a new cosmetic product after getting a recommendation for it, but after actually using it...
Have you ever noticed your skin looking different than usual? 🥲
When I start using a new product, I tend to use it consistently for a few days.
If small pimples appear on your face or it becomes bumpier than usual
It was difficult to tell if the product didn't suit me or if my skin condition just happened to worsen by chance.
Especially those around me say it might be the process of adjusting at first,
I'm even more confused because someone else told me to stop immediately, saying it could be a sign that it doesn't agree with my skin.
I'm worried that if I use it for a few more days, my skin might become even more sensitive, and
But giving up right away feels like a waste since I paid a lot for the product.
I'm wondering if this kind of reaction can occur even if I keep the existing products as they are and just add one new product.
If stinging, itching, or even redness occurs, I shouldn't just assume it's an adjustment period and wait, right?
How do you all judge when your skin changes from its usual state after using new cosmetics?
Please let me know if you have any experiences where you felt better after stopping use, or if you have any criteria you check when choosing a product!
From now on, I'm also going to try to keep a close eye on my skin's reaction rather than just enduring it or continuing to use it because I feel like it's a waste to throw it away. 🙂
