How do you utilize the colors in your eyeshadow palettes that you never use? 🎨

Everyone! Whenever you buy an eyeshadow palette, do you happen to hit pan only on the colors you use, while the rest of the shades or vibrant colors remain like new?
I also recently had a sudden realization while looking at the pink coral palette I use often: only the base color and two accent shades were completely emptied, while the deep brown and glamorous pearl colors remained almost brand new.
The palette is quite expensive, so I thought it would be a waste to just leave the colors piled on like this.
Do you happen to have your own ingenious tip for making 200% use of the eyeshadow colors sitting idle in your pouch?
