Is it true that washing your face with only water in the morning is better for your skin?
I've been constantly worrying lately about how to wash my face in the morning.
I used to use a cleanser in the mornings as well, but at some point, my skin started drying out easily and feeling tight, so these days I only wash my face with water.
However, people around me were saying that I need to wash my face properly in the morning as well to remove the sebum and impurities that accumulated overnight.
On the other hand, there are many opinions that for those with sensitive skin, washing only with water helps protect the skin barrier, so I am really confused about which method is right.
In particular, there is a big difference between days when my makeup applies well and days when it looks cakey, so I wonder if it might be due to my cleansing habits.
Are there any of you whose skin condition has improved after changing your morning face washing routine?
I'm curious to hear your actual experiences regarding whether you only wash your face with water or use a cleanser.
