Why do pores next to the nose look particularly wide?

My cheeks are fine, but the pores on the sides of my nose look particularly prominent.

It was actually kind of stressful because even when I applied makeup, that part just wouldn't look smooth.

I'm also curious whether the reason my pores look wide is due to sebum or skin elasticity.

I looked it up and found that various factors, such as sebum secretion and the elasticity of the skin around the pores, can have an impact.

They say that simply removing sebum doesn't solve the problem, and excessive squeezing can actually cause irritation.

Lately, I've been debating whether to use a pore primer or a sebum control product.

For those of you who have tried managing the pores next to your nose, which method did you find the most satisfying?
