How do people with dehydrated, combination, or oily skin manage their oiliness?

I have combination skin that is dry on the inside, all year round

Around the nose, forehead, and in severe cases, even up to the cheeks.

My oil was exploding.

I also use blotting paper and powder.

I've also been trying products that are said to be good for oil control.

I didn't see much of a dramatic effect.

Especially with the upcoming summer

I feel like sebum secretion is going to get worse.
