탱탱했던 시절의 피부 저도 너무 그리워요 ㅠ
"These days, even moisturizing isn't working, and my elasticity is sagging and wrinkles are creeping in... Do I have to give up on anti-aging?"
During transitional seasons like this, with large temperature fluctuations between morning and evening, the skin becomes incredibly sensitive. I feel like my wrinkles have deepened significantly, so I get startled every time I look in the mirror. Because my skin is dry and lacks elasticity, my makeup looks cakey no matter how much I apply it, and the rough texture is really lowering my confidence. At times like this, I feel a strong need to establish a proper anti-aging routine.
To be honest, I used to put off using anti-aging products, thinking I'd use them when I got a bit older, but I don't think I have the luxury to do that these days. During seasonal changes, my skin barrier weakens and moisture evaporates easily, so moisturizing alone just isn't enough. Lately, I've been trying to switch from retinol to less irritating peptide or collagen ampoules. Still, I'm having a hard time deciding what works best for my skin.
The hardest part is when my skin gets irritated while I'm trying to do anti-aging. Instead of gaining elasticity, it turns red and stings, so I get anxious. That's why these days I'm trying to focus on consistency rather than strong products. I'm managing my skin by slowly layering products, starting with a light essence and progressing to a cream, so that it doesn't shock my skin too much.
How do you manage wrinkles that seem to deepen every time the seasons change? Please be sure to share any anti-aging products or routines that have been effective for you. I never knew my skin would struggle this much every time the seasons changed 😢 I want to take consistent care of it and get back to the firm skin I had in the past.
