피부가 지성인가요? 근데 피부는 넘 깨끗하고 좋아보이네요..
I'm concerned about the thick finish and shine in my oily zones when I apply a matte cushion.
My skin type is combination oily. So My face is lacking moisture but feels very oily.
Even when dewy, radiant, and inner glows were in style, my skin didn't need that kind of shine. I wanted and continued to prefer soft, matte makeup and coverage.
As I get older, my face is losing moisture even more; the dry areas remain dry, while the oily areas haven't reduced and are still greasy.
So, if I try to do glow-inducing makeup, it feels like it combines with oil and ends up looking like a really messy skin tone rather than glowing makeup.
I prefer cushions over foundation because they are more convenient to use, so I use them frequently. Since I like matte makeup, I mainly buy and use matte cushions.
I am currently using products I purchased from Olive Young, a cushion recommended by YouTubers for matte makeup, and a home shopping product that claims to give a soft, velvety finish.
But the problem is that when I do matte makeup, it feels like my skin makeup becomes thick. Even though I didn't apply it thickly, after a little while, instead of feeling like the matte cushion has adhered to my skin and made it look bright and clean, my skin feels heavy and cakey.
And even if you apply makeup with a matte cushion, the staying power doesn't last long after a while.
The butterfly zone around my nose is very oily, so my makeup often breaks down due to the grease, resulting in a patchy look. I am really worried about this.
I'm concerned about my skin getting too oily and cakey before applying makeup, so I only use the bare minimum of basic base.
That said, I don't make my skincare routine dry, but I do a solid base that moisturizes well.
Think of it as applying toner, essence, and cream while letting them absorb during your skincare routine. Then, follow with sunscreen and cushion makeup.
What is my biggest concern when doing matte makeup?
After some time has passed since applying makeup, the skin feels heavy and the makeup does not adhere well, giving a floating sensation.
After applying makeup, over time, the oily areas like the nose and butterfly zone become shiny and the makeup breaks down.
And it doesn't create a radiant look when doing matte makeup.
I’d appreciate any questions, advice, and help regarding matte makeup.
