My neck and face tones are different; do you apply base to my neck as well?

The UV rays are strong these days, so my neck gets sunburned easily. I do apply sunscreen to my neck, but since I wear low-cut clothes in the summer, I guess getting sunburned is unavoidable.

When I apply makeup, the difference in skin tone between my neck and face makes my jawline look more prominent if I only apply makeup to my face. Do you all apply base to your necks as well?

I think it stands out more because the tone of my neck and face are different.
