Last attempt before a procedure... Old forehead pigmentation, are there any gentle, great products?

Hello. The spot where a scab formed a long time ago at the boundary between my forehead and scalp has remained discolored black and shows no signs of going away.

I was stressed every time I looked in the mirror, so I was considering booking a laser treatment,

I am posting this question to try home care one last time.

 

I have tried products containing lemon ingredients or high-concentration Vitamin C that are said to be good for whitening, but

My skin is on the sensitive side, so it stings and turns red as soon as I apply it, so I keep stopping every time.

 

Is there by any chance a blemish care product that even sensitive skin like this can consistently use without irritation?
