I feel like I can't skip sunscreen, so I make sure to apply it, but the problem is the next step.
I'm so stressed because whenever I apply foundation, it feels like it keeps smudging or flaking off... It's even more frustrating because it feels like there are hardly any days when my makeup goes on cleanly.
I’ve tried changing my skincare routine and using various sunscreens, but it hasn’t completely resolved the issue, so I’m confused about what the problem is. I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong in the basic skincare steps, or if the sunscreen and foundation just aren’t compatible. I even tried letting it absorb for a while, thinking it might be because I wasn’t allowing enough time for absorption, but it doesn’t seem to make much of a difference.
Is anyone else experiencing makeup caking after applying sunscreen like me? I'm curious how everyone else solved this. I'd appreciate some advice on whether I need to switch products or if the issue lies in the order or method of application. 🙏
