My acne is over, but my skin isn't returning to normal... Would a regenerating ointment help?

My acne has almost calmed down now, but the problem is the remaining scars and marks.
As you can see in the photo, there were red marks and faint indented scars left on my cheeks, so my skin didn't look clean.
Even with makeup, the scars aren't covered well, and my skin texture looks uneven, so it bothers me a lot.
My skin has become sensitive overall lately, so I am avoiding irritating treatments or exfoliation, and I am trying to focus on skincare that I can do at home.
So I became curious if skin regeneration ointment would help with acne scars as well.
If you look it up, skin regeneration ointments are said to be good for soothing and restoring the skin, but I'm not sure if they were actually effective in reducing acne scars or marks.
If anyone has consistently used a skin regeneration ointment for acne scars, please share an honest review of how long you used it and what changes you experienced. I would also appreciate it if you could let me know if it helped with red marks or shallow scars.
