😱 This is the first time my skin has broken out like this. Do I really need a regenerating cream?

Lately, my skin has suddenly broken out completely.
As you can see in the photo, redness has flared up mainly around my cheeks and chin, and my overall skin tone has become patchy.
Even though I don't have any major breakouts, my skin remains sensitive, and the stinging and burning sensation lingers for a long time after washing my face.
Cosmetics that I used to be able to overlook feel irritating even when I apply just a little bit these days, making skincare more difficult.
The main problem is that the skin texture becomes rough and red marks do not subside easily.
My makeup cakes and smudges even when I apply it, so I’ve practically given up on base makeup, and I get stressed every time I look in the mirror.
So these days, I have stopped using all exfoliants and functional products, and I am trying to manage my skin as gently as possible.
People around me have told me that it is good to consistently apply a skin regeneration cream when my skin is breaking out like this, so I am looking into it, but there are so many types that I am having trouble deciding which one to choose.
