How do you manage your skin barrier during the changing seasons?
My skin has become very sensitive lately as the weather has suddenly turned cold.
As I get older, I can definitely feel that my skin barrier has weakened compared to before.
My face is usually fine, but it stings whenever the seasons change, and especially in winter, I even get flushed on my cheeks.
How do you all manage situations like this?
Lately, I've been relying solely on a skin barrier repair cream.
I feel like my skin calms down a bit after applying a generous amount right after washing my face.
In the past, no matter how much I applied, my skin remained dry from within, but lately, it feels moisturized deep down, so my makeup goes on much better in the morning.
If you apply a thick layer like a hydrating mask before bed, the redness and tightness are reduced the next day.
However, it’s not completely resolved yet, so has anyone tried any products that help soothe redness or sensitive skin?
Please recommend some soothing creams or serums that are good to use during the changing seasons or winter.
As I get older, my skin isn't what it used to be. I'm curious how everyone else takes care of theirs.
