Is there really no solution for removing melasma or freckles other than a dermatologist?

 

Seeing as I’ve had a lot of freckles since I was young, I think I have more melanin than others. Fortunately, I was born with pretty good skin; even though it is a bit dry, I’ve lived almost without any breakouts. Thanks to that, having lived completely indifferently to skincare and applying cosmetics until this age...

Dark spots have flared up really badly around my eyes.

Perhaps thanks to applying sunscreen really diligently for the past few years, it doesn't seem to be getting darker, but...

As expected, now that summer is over, it feels like it has subtly deepened again.

 

 

 

 

As expected, it doesn't seem like applying Dominna cream, packs, or anything like that really works for melasma...

Dark spots that have already appeared won't disappear just by applying sunscreen, either...

Freckles usually fade a little if you stay out of the sun in the winter, but it doesn't seem like that's the case with melasma...

I should have started taking care of it when the melasma first appeared, but since I've always had freckles, I didn't realize they were melasma and neglected them. As a result, the area has gradually expanded and the color has gotten darker...

My face looks older than my age, and somehow it looks dull, so I feel like I look depressed for no reason.

What I almost thought were freckles are actually all melasma...

Just in case, I tried removing freckles like moles when I was getting moles removed, but they didn't go away at all.

I guess... laser toning is the only way to remove melasma?

The problem is!!! It’s not a one-time laser toning treatment; you have to keep getting it periodically.....

They did say that it does fade a little if you get it done a few times repeatedly...

If only I could just have a clean face without freckles or blemishes, my skin is actually in pretty good condition, so I think my face would look quite neat and noticeably brighter.

I really want to try going out wearing only BB cream, without any makeup like concealer...

 

For those of you who have received laser toning, how were the results?

I suppose it would be difficult to expect miraculous results from laser toning on very dark melasma, too?

 

I'd appreciate advice from those who have seen good results removing melasma with other procedures.
