Lately, I've been really self-conscious about the fine lines under my eyes every time I look in the mirror. It's especially difficult when I do my eye makeup. When I apply eyeshadow, it settles into the lines and actually makes my eyes look more tired, and even when I try to cover my dark circles with concealer, the fine lines are highlighted, making me look older. If I finish with powder, it becomes matte and accentuates the dry lines, but if I try to finish with a dewy finish, it smudges immediately, so it feels like there is no solution for either approach.
Going out without makeup makes my skin look dry and dull like bare skin, but the more I wear makeup, the more the fine lines under my eyes become visible, creating a vicious cycle. I have been consistently using eye creams and anti-wrinkle products, but it is frustrating because the problem isn't resolved immediately when I apply makeup. My concerns are so deep that I am wondering if I should just give up eye makeup altogether because of these fine lines under my eyes.
Does anyone happen to know any tips or methods for achieving natural-looking eye makeup even with fine lines under the eyes?
