Please tell me how to care for an itchy scalp.

I heard that hair loss occurs more frequently as you get older.

I think I heard that if your scalp is clean, hair loss occurs less.

I think I've reached the age where I'm starting to worry about hair loss, too.

I currently have an itchy scalp.

It's not that bad.

I think I've looked up scalp care methods and am following them well.

But the itching still isn't going away.

As for the scalp care methods I looked into...

When washing my hair, I gently rub it with the side of my fingerprints instead of my fingernails.

They say rinsing is the most important part.

So I rinse vigorously with water for more than a minute... I rinse especially thoroughly around the scalp.

I wash my hair with lukewarm water because I heard that hot water is bad for the scalp.

Make sure to dry your hair thoroughly. Especially the scalp.

Dry it by mixing hot and cold air.

My scalp is itchy even after washing my hair.

At first, I thought it was because I was getting gray hairs... but I don't think that's the case.

I'm worried that if I scratch my head when I go out, people will misunderstand and think I haven't washed my hair.

I wash my hair really diligently and think I'm taking care of it in my own way...

Is my method wrong?

Please let me know if there is a better way to care for your scalp.

I used to use an itch-relieving product from Head & Shoulders.

But it seems like the itching has gotten worse since I started using the shampoo that was a holiday gift.

I use the shampoo that came in because it feels like a waste to throw it away...
