얼굴에 바르는건 몸에 발라도 된다고 들었어요
In the past, when I lived with my children, I used to buy body lotion separately, but these days, I can't bring myself to use up the entire large jar of body lotion before the expiration date, and since it is summer, I don't really feel any dryness, so I can't find a reason to apply body lotion.
We don't have any body lotion at home anymore, with the last ones being Cetaphil, Illiyoon, and Derma B, which I bought a few years ago to use with my daughter. Back then, the reason I used body lotion was because of my daughter's dry and troubled skin.
I am applying cosmetic samples, lotions and creams that have been opened for a long time and feel uncomfortable to use on my face, or even unopened ones that are past their prime, to my feet, legs, and forearms. Since the main purpose of using body lotion is moisturization, is it okay to do this?
However, I'm wondering if lotion can go rancid or if I shouldn't apply it, and I'm curious about the specific differences in function between the face and body versions.
It’s partly because it feels like a waste to throw it away, and partly because I’m rationalizing that the face version is better than the body version.
