How should I store face masks during the summer?

I usually keep face masks in the refrigerator.

I think it's good to use a cool face mask taken out of the refrigerator, especially in the summer.

I wasn't sure if there was any difference in performance between refrigerated and room-temperature mask packs, or if refrigeration was better.

I have a feeling that the performance might change if stored at room temperature during the summer; I'm wondering if that is correct.

What is the best way to safely store face masks even in the hot and humid summer environment?
