I want to know about contouring methods and their effects.

It’s hard to take care of my face, probably because of the cold and dry winter weather.
I'm worried because my face is rough and flaky.
It looks so white and unpleasant.
I am interested in this as part of the method.
Looking at the posts in this forum, I see a lot of posts about covering up parts and adding shading through contouring.
There is a section in the text about blush and sticks.
What are the differences between these two, and what are their pros and cons?

Will this be effective?
