Since I don't know much about makeup and don't usually wear it, the term "matte makeup" itself was completely unfamiliar to me. After looking it up, it seemed to describe a look without shine... So, after researching, I found myself becoming more interested in matte lips because I don't wear makeup often.
After doing some research, it seems that light, refreshing, and moisturizing matte lipsticks are preferred in the summer, while lipsticks with a distinct matte texture are definitely preferred and popular in the cold winter. Personally, I would love to know of some good matte lipsticks to gift to family or friends, so if you have any recommendations for matte lipsticks that you have used and were satisfied with, I would be very grateful.
