Makeup trends change so frequently that it's hard to keep up. Sometimes shiny, dewy skin is in style, then people say you need a matte look, and then they claim natural makeup is the best... It really is hard to keep up. When I was younger, there was something called "two-way cake," and I even used to put on such a thick layer that my skin couldn't breathe. Haha. Looking back now, I think I really abused my skin.

I tend not to wear much makeup, so sometimes when I sweat, my skin gets shiny as if oil is dripping down. However, I don't have the confidence to apply a thick layer of product either. I would like recommendations for makeup techniques or cosmetics that allow me to keep my skin light while maintaining a matte finish for a long time. Products that provide a matte base would be especially great.
