Is it impossible to achieve a matte lip look without highlighting dry patches?

I like matte lipsticks, so I want to try buying various kinds.

Lip wrinkles and dead skin cells look more prominent

If lip product gets stuck between wrinkles and dead skin cells

I'm hesitant to use it because it seems to look even messier.

Please recommend a matte lip product that doesn't emphasize dry skin flakes as much.
