I have combination skin, so I prefer a semi-matte base.
In winter, if I use semi-matte products, my skin gets dry, cakes, and the base doesn't look pretty.
Since it is matte, you have to expect it to cake a bit compared to a glow cushion, but I am using it because the staying power and coverage are good.
