Are there any matte lipsticks that are matte yet cause less dryness and flaking?

I tend to prefer lipstick over lip tint, so I always wear lipstick.

But you know the downside of lipstick, right? When I apply it, a lot of dead skin cells flak off.

It's good at first, but dead skin cells flake off every time I remove my makeup or reapply lipstick...

It bothered me every time, so I kept picking at it, and eventually my lips cracked and looked unsightly.

What products do others use?
