If I apply sunscreen after the all-in-one gel, it pills.

I have oily and sensitive skin, so instead of heavy creams, I moisturize solely with Hada Labo Gokujun Perfect Gel. It works really well at night, but if I apply sunscreen right after this gel in the morning, it sometimes flakes off like dead skin.
Should I reduce the amount of gel, or would it be better to apply it, wait a few minutes, and then apply sunscreen? Please also recommend any sunscreens that didn't pill even when used with the all-in-one gel!
