A puff used when applying sunscreen or base?

How many times should I use it before throwing it away?

I'm not using an expensive puff; I'm using a Daiso one. So, even though it's a bit of a hassle, I replace the puff every two days.

People around me said that you should use it only once a day and throw it away.

Since people say that, I wonder if replacing the puff once a day is the right thing to do for my skin. But replacing it every two days doesn't seem like a short interval either. How do you all manage your puff replacement cycle?
