If I apply makeup, including foundation, for a water park, will it all wash off in the water?

I'm going to a water park this time, and I'm worried about my acne scars, so I'm debating whether to even apply foundation.
I think applying only tone-up sunscreen won't provide enough coverage, and
I'm worried that if I apply cushion or foundation, it will all wash off when I go into the water.

Apply a thin layer of waterproof product.
Some say that it holds up to some extent if you fix it with powder or a fixer, but
I've actually heard that it might get stained or peel in places....

Even when I search for reviews, opinions differ.
Actually, I'm a bit confused about how much makeup is okay to wear.

For those of you who have tried makeup at a water park, how far did you go with your base makeup?
Whether the base makeup was almost completely washed off after playing in the water,
Please let me know if it stayed relatively neat even after using cushion or foundation!
