Freckle treatment for elementary school students

My elementary school-aged child has developed too many freckles on their cheeks, possibly because their skin is sensitive to UV rays.

I've been applying sunscreen diligently for a while, but my freckles get worse every summer. Can an elementary school student receive treatment?

I bought a cream that is good for freckles and age spots and tried applying it, but the area I applied it to feels hot and stinging, so I can't even apply it.

Should I get treatment quickly so that my freckles don't get worse?

Or, since they are young, would it be better to get treatment later?

It’s so upsetting to see freckles suddenly appearing on my fair skin.
