Does brushing your hair frequently cause more hair loss?
I usually comb my hair frequently, and I suddenly became curious whether combing often affects hair loss or shedding, so I am asking this question.
I hate my hair getting tangled, so I tend to comb it several times a day. However, quite a lot of hair gets stuck on the comb after I comb, so I worry that I might be losing more hair than I should.
On the other hand, some people say that brushing your hair frequently is good for scalp blood circulation. So, I am wondering if brushing your hair often actually helps, or if it might actually irritate the scalp and cause more hair loss.
I would also like to know which is better for scalp and hair health: combing wet hair or dry hair. I am curious if there is a difference depending on the type of comb, and I would like to hear the experiences of those who use wooden combs or cushion brushes.
If you have actually experienced reduced hair loss or improved scalp condition after changing your brushing habits, please share.
