Now that I'm over 40, my face suddenly looks long. Is it just me?
I was surprised recently while looking at old photos. My weight hasn't changed much, and my facial features are exactly the same, but when I look at recent photos, my face feels longer than it used to be.
In particular, my jawline doesn't look the same as before, and I feel like my cheeks have sagged, so it bothers me every time I look in the mirror.
At first, I thought it was just my imagination, but it seems to be more clearly visible in photos taken by others than in selfies.
Since my face looks long overall, I feel like I look older for no reason.
I used to have a round, youthful look, but lately I often hear that I look tired and lifeless.
I looked it up and found that as you age, skin elasticity decreases and the position of your cheeks changes, which can make your face look longer. I'm curious if that is really true.
I am also wondering if I can improve it to some extent with exercise, massage, or home care, or if I need to consider procedures like lifting.
Is there anyone else like me who feels that their face looks longer at some point?
Please share your honest experiences regarding when you all started noticing such changes and what kind of care helped.🙏
I am really curious if it is just me, or if this is a natural change that everyone goes through at least once.
