Do you have any tips for reapplying sunscreen? (When wearing makeup)

I reapply it once in a while during my lunch break at work, but I usually just apply it over my makeup and reapply it. It feels like my makeup is getting too thick, and I can't exactly remove my makeup to reapply sunscreen, so it’s a bit of a tricky situation. I heard that even SPE 50++ cushions don't provide sunscreen benefits on their own, so I've been trying to do that, but reapplying it is really not easy. How do those of you who reapply do it? I'm talking about when I'm wearing makeup.
