(Question) I would appreciate it if you could recommend an effective burn ointment to apply to my face.
I went out with my college-aged son's friends.
I heard that they went to the emergency room early in the morning after suffering burns on their face (the area above the forehead).
He brought the renoform back, saying they gave it to him as leftovers from the treatment in the emergency room.
I couldn't take a picture of the burned face because my son is sleeping right now.
I heard the doctor didn't take it seriously, saying it was just a 1.5-degree burn, but only prescribed oral medication and told me to just go for disinfection once the hospital opens tomorrow.
Since it is a visible area of my face, I am very concerned about scarring and discoloration.
I don't think the hospital will prescribe burn ointment.
I am planning to buy it at a pharmacy without a prescription and apply it.
I would appreciate it if you could recommend a burn ointment that is effective in preventing scarring and discoloration.
I am also curious if there is a difference in effectiveness between ointment purchased with a doctor's prescription and ointment purchased at a pharmacy without a prescription.
