Removing melasma isn't working well, and managing it is so difficult.
I was a sesame seed when I was young.

I hadn't really thought about getting rid of my freckles.

It's a little different now, but when I was young, I think I lived with a quirky confidence.
I also thought that vaguely worrying about freckles on this face wouldn't solve anything.
I didn't feel ashamed or anything like that, as if hypnotized by the strange logic that the face I inherited wasn't my responsibility.
It was a play on the saying, "If worrying made worries disappear, there would be no worries," meaning we shouldn't waste time worrying about things that won't solve anything.

I think I blindly believed the saying, "If you can't avoid it, enjoy it."
Kkaesuni isn't going to disappear just because I worry about it (I was being too arrogant).
With this mindset, I sought understanding for who I am as I am and kept someone by my side who was satisfied with my current state.

I lived without being conscious of my surroundings, wearing only simple basic makeup.
As a result, my face looks messy now and it shows that I haven't been taking care of it.

Whenever I had some spare time, I tried applying creams, masks, and other things, but I didn't really see any noticeable effect.
I apply sunscreen before going out, and while it does protect my skin, that isn't all there is to it.

No matter what I do, the freckles and blemishes that are already on my skin don't seem to go away easily...
Freckles at least fade a little if you avoid sunlight, but I don't think that's the case with melasma~!!

I went to work with this mindset, and once I reached a certain position, I found that there were people who took issue with it.

Why don't you try removing some freckles?

After hearing it a few times, I thought it might be true, so just in case, I went to a dermatologist for a consultation!!
I went to the dermatologist thinking I had freckles, but they said I do have freckles, but I also have a lot of melasma.
Then, he recommended laser treatment for melasma removal.
Is laser treatment really the only solution for treating melasma?

It seems the freckle removal method you are talking about is laser toning.....
He explained that this uses a laser to remove pigmentation,
"They explained that since it destroys pigments, it does not leave damage to surrounding skin or scars, and there is minimal skin damage after the procedure."
However, they even told me that I need to continue receiving laser toning treatments periodically for about 10 sessions.

I'm wondering if this might reappear after some time has passed since the procedure.
For those of you who have tried laser toning, were you satisfied?
Can we expect this to be effective in removing such old and dark blemishes?
I would appreciate it if you could share your experiences.

I'm not sure if it's too late.

레이저 시술 해도 자외선 받고 그러면 금방 다시 생겨서 선크림도 꼬박 꼬박 바르고 계속 관리해야하더라구요
