Can a sun stick be considered an organic sunscreen?

I used to use mineral sunscreen, but trying to get rid of the white cast required rubbing it in for a long time, which took too much time, and I disliked the stickiness, so I ended up switching to organic sunscreen. Organic sunscreen is nice because it doesn't leave a white cast, but since it doesn't reflect UV rays off the surface of the skin, I worry that it might increase skin sensitivity. Despite that, I just can't seem to give up on organic sunscreen.

These days, I carry a sun stick with me to reapply frequently, and I feel like nothing is as convenient as a sun stick. Since you can simply swipe it on without getting it on your hands, it allows for quick and easy use. The downside would be that you can't apply it to every nook and cranny.

I suspect that sun sticks are also made with organic sunscreen ingredients. I am curious whether this might increase skin sensitivity as well.
