Running In has dry skin and is wondering how to do her skincare.

 

Lately, my skin is literally in a state of emergency. I already had extremely dry skin, but since I started exercising consistently and running outdoors frequently, my exposure to UV rays has increased. After sweating during a workout, my face often feels tight, stings, and turns red, and this situation where dead skin cells even start to flak is repeating itself.

 

I always make sure to apply sunscreen when running, but it washes off easily with sweat, and realistically, it isn't easy to reapply it frequently. I also feel like the sweat drying on my skin makes it even drier, and after washing up following a workout, my skin is so parched that even if I quickly apply cream, it feels tight and flaky again right away. So lately, I am experiencing more stress for my skin than I am enjoying exercising.

 

People say that if you have extremely dry skin, maintaining a proper oil-water balance is the most important thing. However, I honestly have no idea how to manage it.
