Are there any products that help brighten the skin?

Hello. I feel like my skin is getting duller as I get older. Maybe that is why I don't take many photos, but when I do see one I did take, my skin looks really dark. Are there any creams or products that I can use daily to brighten my skin tone? I have combination skin. I tend to wear sunscreen, but I'm still concerned.
