Safe contouring~

If contouring is excessive, it looks too artificial and doesn't look good, so I tend not to do it since I'm not very skilled at it.

What is the most important thing for a beginner to do without making big mistakes?

    초보라자면 진한 컬러 대신 옅은 컬러로 여러번 레이어링해서 자신에게 맞는 윤곽 라인을 파악하는 게 중요할 것 같아요! 긴 얼굴을 짧아 보이게 하고 싶다면 얼굴 중앙을 쉐딩으로 끊어주고, 하이라이터나 볼륨머로 봉긋해보이고 싶은 부분을 터치하면 컨투어링이 더 확실하게 될 거예요 :)
