How should I contour an angular face?

 

I'm a makeup beginner, so the word 'contouring'

I didn't even know what it was, so I looked it up.

 

The dictionary meaning of contouring is

It is 'formation of the external shape' and 'formation of the contours'.

 

Contouring makeup enhances facial contours

Makeup techniques to make you look three-dimensional am.

 

It is a skin expression method that involves not only brightening the forehead, nose bridge, and cheekbones using a highlighter or foundation lighter than the skin tone, but also creating shadows on the hairline and jawline using shading powder or foundation darker than the skin tone.

My face isn't on the big side, but

I have slightly prominent cheekbones and an angular jaw.

So when taking photos, compared to the real thing

My face looks big, and even in real life, it's definitely a little bit

It might seem that way, though.

 

A face with prominent cheekbones and an angular shape looks somewhat strong, doesn't it?

So I'm worried.

To make it look soft and make the face look smaller

I am curious about how to contour.

 

Applying only basic skincare and sunscreen

I'm a beginner, so someone who is good at makeup...
