It's summer! I've gathered the representative matte foundations for these days that you don't want to break down 🙂

What foundation comes to mind first when you think of summer?

 

I have combination skin, so I prefer semi-matte foundation.

It's humid and hot these days, so

Since I sweat a lot

I find myself using matte foundations that adhere well and last.

 

 

 

That representative foundation is

I think it's Giorgio Armani's Power Fabric Foundation!

Since Armani Beauty is expensive,

I always end up hesitating whenever I buy it.

 

 

 

So, what you see at Olive Young

I compared affordable semi-matte foundations that are usable as alternatives to Armani.

 

Hera Silky Stay Foundation and VDL Cover Stain Perfecting Foundation are

Both are semi-matte foundations that are quite famous in their own way.

I brought this because I thought it would be good to compare.

 

 

 

On the left is Armani Power Fabric Foundation No. 3.

The one in the middle is Hera Silky Foundation shade 21N1.

The one on the right is VDL Perfecting Foundation No. V02.

 

All three colors are representative shades of No. 21.

Since I use neutral colors

Hera and VDL have a neutral, slightly yellow base.

 

In terms of formulation

They are all similar.

The Hera Silky Foundation looks a bit thinner.

 

 

 

 

When you actually apply them, all three are not heavy.

It can be applied with a moisturizing feel.

It is a lightweight foundation.

 

If you look at it this way, Armani Power Fabric No. 3 and

VDL Perfecting Foundation V02 looks like it has a similar color.

 

 

 

 

When I applied it closely to my skin, I noticed quite a difference in color.

 

Since all three are foundations that adhere to the skin in a matte finish

While not easily pushed around

The matte finish was similar.

 

The Armani foundation on the left looks much brighter when applied closely.

You will see that the VDL foundation, which looked similar to Armani, has a surprisingly strong yellow tint, resulting in a dull color.

 

So, if you are looking for VDL, I think using the A02 color instead of V02 would give you a brighter look.

 

 

The one with similar adhesion

I think it's Armani and Hera.

Both have a matte finish when fixed.

If you have inner dryness, I think it would be best to replenish moisture well before applying makeup.

As long as the inside is solid, it won't collapse

It stayed soft and neat.

 

VDL also adheres perfectly.

It felt a little lighter.

VDL doesn't break down easily, so it has good staying power.
