I'm curious about a great tip for applying concealer to cover dark circles and blemishes without it settling into wrinkles!

Lately, I've been using Drop Be Concealer frequently when doing my makeup to cover dark circles and blemishes around my eyes!
I really like the coverage, but after a short while, the concealer settles into the fine lines around my eyes or feels a bit dry and cakey.
By any chance, how do you do your basic skincare for the eye area before applying concealer? Also, among a brush, fingertips, and a sponge, which tool should I use to ensure it adheres well without settling into wrinkles?
If you have any tips on how to control the amount of concealer for a thin, moisturizing finish, or any other recommended application tricks, please share your know-how! 🙏✨
