Could I get a huge pimple because the foundation I use doesn't suit my skin?

I am very interested in skincare, so I get enough sleep, and

I'm trying to cut down on greasy foods and control my diet, but I'm worried because huge pimples keep popping up around my mouth.

Especially since it wasn't just one or two, but large ones that flared up and turned red, it was hard to cover them up even with makeup.

Could it be that the foundation I am using doesn't suit my skin?

Or could there be another cause?

I am very concerned because this keeps happening even though I am washing my face and moisturizing thoroughly.

I really want to have beautiful skin, but I'm worried that I might be doing it wrong.
