Please recommend some soft matte lipsticks.

I have to go abroad next week for about a week.
I am thinking of gifting a matte lip because it is less of a burden and not bulky.
I feel awkward asking since I'm thinking of a surprise gift without knowing.

There are so many types and colors that I need to explain the process at the duty-free shop to make a purchase. What is the best way to do this?
Duty-free products are difficult to exchange, and I'm worried about what would happen if I gave them as a gift and they didn't like them.
Should I secretly take a picture of my makeup, go to Chanel or a domestic brand store to pick out the colors, and buy them? Haha.
(Leaving the Incheon Airport duty-free shop) Would it be okay if I asked for the trendy product that everyone uses these days?
I hope it doesn't rub off and stays soft.
