Brewer's yeast and biotin said to be good for hair loss

Has anyone really seen results for hair loss?

I took the pill form for 4 months and didn't feel any effect, so I didn't repurchase it. Is that okay?

I'm also thinking it might have been different if I had taken two bottles...

I've heard that brewer's yeast is better in powder form, so I'm thinking of taking it in powder form.
