I'm using a face mask for home care, but I'm not really seeing any results.

I’ve been doing face masks after coming home from work because it feels like it calms both my skin and my mind. But lately, I’ve suddenly started wondering: Is this mask really right for me? It feels nice and moisturizing when I use it, but sometimes I feel a bit sticky after washing it off. Still, if I don't do it, it feels like I'm not taking care of myself, so I keep doing it. Is there any home care routine other than face masks that suits my skin perfectly, is easy to do, and allows me to do it consistently?
