Coverlicious Power Fit Foundation Review
My skin type is combination oily, prone to breakouts, and redness. I prefer a finish that feels thin and semi-matte without feeling heavy or suffocating, so I rarely buy glow foundations. Honestly, Banila Co. was just (matte, matte, matte!). I wouldn't recommend it to those with dry skin, but if you must use it, I think it wouldn't be bad if mixed with a moisturizing foundation.
* Pros: It was thin yet provided good coverage, and it didn't cake. As long as you take good care of your skin, I don't think it will dry out easily.
The staying power wasn't bad, and it didn't break down messily! I used to avoid Estée Lauder products because of the lumpy, flaky texture, but this product didn't wear off in a messy way. As for staying power, it felt like it lasted about 7 to 8 hours if I wasn't wearing a mask, and it didn't clump even when I touched up. However, it did feel a little tight; that is the downside.
I usually tend to choose shade 21, but while Hera's 21 provided very natural coverage, Banila Co brightens the complexion just the right amount. Anyway, it exceeded my expectations so much that it made me feel foolish for only looking for expensive foundations until now.
