How do you do makeup for acne-prone skin?

How do people with acne do their makeup?

I'm hesitant to wear full makeup because I have acne-prone skin and I'm worried it might clog my pores.

My skin is so bad without makeup that it's embarrassing to go out without it.

How can I do makeup that applies well without clogging my pores?
