What is a good foundation with good coverage?

I don't know why my foundation just doesn't suit me these days.

It feels like it cakes and doesn't adhere to the skin, so my makeup doesn't go on nicely...

It bothers me even more because it wears off quickly and looks patchy after just a short while.

I think I used to be fine no matter what I used, but lately, maybe because my skin has gotten dry...

Even when I use a moisturizing product, it feels like it sits on the surface, and my makeup doesn't last long.

I'm looking for a foundation that isn't too thick, provides natural coverage, and doesn't smudge easily over time, but it's not easy.

If you happen to have any good products you're using these days, please recommend them.
