Estée Lauder Re:Nutriv Ultra Radiance Foundation, good for dry skin
I have extremely dry skin and shade 13, a bright Winter Cool tone. Because my skin is so fair, choosing a foundation is quite difficult. Furthermore, any foundation with even the slightest yellow undertone looks cakey on my skin, making it hard to use. Since I have almost no blemishes and my pores aren't large, I don't really care about coverage; therefore, the most important factor for me when purchasing is a thin, non-drying application.
I was originally satisfied with Estée Lauder Futurist Cool Porcelain, so I decided to purchase this product in the same Cool Porcelain shade. It is on the expensive side, but since I have very dry skin and find it difficult to use matte types, I continue to use it despite the cost. However, even though this product is also Cool Porcelain, it is slightly darker than Futurist. Because it makes my skin look duller than its natural tone, I don't apply it alone; instead, I mix it with a white foundation or Espoir Wedding Peach. It is a foundation that blends naturally and works well with other products, so it is great for mixing.
Since it is a glow foundation, it is less prone to caking or dryness, but the coverage is very weak. It feels like a foundation that provides almost no coverage at all. However, I continue to use it because it allows for a natural makeup look that doesn't feel unnatural on the skin. Those who prioritize coverage might be less satisfied. It has a watery consistency that applies smoothly, and it has decent staying power. It is suitable for transparent makeup that simply evens out skin texture.
The capacity is quite generous, so it lasts a long time, and it is great to use when my skin is dry in the winter. Estée Lauder's glow foundations are really good products for dry skin.
